Location: Addision High School and Middle School

Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with endorsement in Science (DX) Grades 6-12, or Biology (DA) 6-12, or Integrated Science (DI) 6-12.  

Responsibilities:

• Establish and enforce classroom management procedures consistent with district, PBIS and MTSS initiatives
• Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstrations, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question and investigate
• Monitor student progress with making sense of phenomena and solving problems using the three dimensional learning: Disciplinary Core Ideas, Cross Cutting Concepts, and Science and Engineering Practices.  
• Familiar with the The Next Generation Science Standards and other Framework-based standards.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests
